We have facilities for the administration of radiotherapy treatment for all types of cancers.
we have the following facility:
The Clinac iX High Energy Linear Accelerator with millennium 120 MLC(multi Leaf Collimator) and Eclipse Treatment Planning System(TPS) all the systems are integrated with ARIA 11.0 a first in west Godavari Dist .Gamma Med Plus 3/24 iX Remote After Loading Brachytherapy unit
We are providing following technique for radiotherapy :
3-D Conformal radiation therapydelivers high radiation dose to tumors but safeguards healthy tissue
Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)& is a revolutionary new modality in which radiation beams are shaped by 120 Multi leaves collimator (Fingers) that wrap the radiation dose around the tumor, thus sparing healthy tissue. The delivery of treatment is verified with Image Guidance (IGRT)
Intracavitary Brachytherapy, Brachytherapy is commonly used in the treatment of early or locally confined cervical cancer and is a standard of care in many countries. Cervical cancer can be treated with HDR brachytherapy. Used in combination with EBRT, The precision of brachytherapy enables a high dose of targeted radiation to be delivered to the cervix, while minimizing radiation exposure to adjacent tissues and organs
